1. The service
RedsMail is an independent web-based interface for accessing and managing a user's own Gmail account through Google APIs. Features may include reading, searching, composing, sending, labelling, archiving, translating and otherwise organising messages.
RedsMail is not a substitute for Google's own Gmail service and does not provide an email account. A functioning Google account and internet access are required for live Gmail features.
2. Account authorisation
Users may connect only accounts they own or are authorised to use. Authentication is handled by Google OAuth. Users are responsible for protecting their Google account, device and browser profile.
Users can disconnect RedsMail and revoke Google access at any time. Some locally cached data may remain until browser or PWA site data is cleared.
3. Acceptable use
Users must not use RedsMail to:
- send spam, phishing, malware, unlawful content or abusive communications;
- access another person's account without permission;
- interfere with, overload, reverse engineer or circumvent security controls of the service, Google APIs or hosting systems;
- violate applicable law, third-party rights, Google's terms or Gmail policies;
- use automated methods that exceed reasonable personal email use or applicable API limits.
4. User actions and content
The user remains responsible for messages, attachments, labels and other content handled through RedsMail. Actions such as Send, Archive, Trash, Spam or moving messages can change the user's actual Gmail mailbox. The user should check recipients and content before sending and use destructive actions carefully.
RedsMail does not claim ownership of user email content.
5. Third-party services
RedsMail depends on services provided by Google and may use a translation provider when translation is requested. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies and may change, limit or discontinue functionality.
RedsMail is not endorsed by or affiliated with Google LLC. Google and Gmail are trademarks of Google LLC.
6. Plans, payments and renewal
The Free plan permits one connected Gmail account. RedsMail Plus permits up to five connected Gmail accounts. The listed base price for Plus is £12 per year; Paddle displays the final total, including any applicable tax, before purchase.
Plus is a recurring annual subscription processed by Paddle as merchant of record. Unless cancelled, it renews automatically at the end of each billing period using the payment method held by Paddle. Users can cancel before renewal using Paddle's subscription-management links and retain paid access until the end of the current paid period, subject to applicable law. Refunds and mandatory cancellation rights are handled under applicable consumer law and the checkout provider's terms.
Prices or plan limits may change for a future billing period. Where required, notice will be given before a change takes effect.
7. Availability and changes
The service may be changed, updated, interrupted or discontinued. Access may be limited to protect security, comply with law, respond to API restrictions or perform maintenance. No minimum availability level is guaranteed.
8. Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RedsMail is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with every device, browser or Google account configuration.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, missed messages, third-party service failures, unauthorised account access caused by the user's device or credentials, or actions taken by the user in their Gmail mailbox. Users should retain appropriate backups and verify important email actions.
10. Suspension and termination
A user's access may be suspended or terminated where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance or protection of the service. Users may stop using RedsMail at any time by disconnecting accounts and clearing local application data.
11. Privacy
The Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms and explains how information is processed.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in the user's country of residence. Courts with lawful jurisdiction may hear disputes.
13. Changes and contact
These Terms may be updated when the service or legal requirements change. The effective date will be revised. Continued use after an update means acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
