1. Who is responsible?
The RedsBlack.com site administrator is responsible for this privacy notice. Contact: jack78787812@gmail.com.
2. Data we may collect
We may collect account data such as username, display name, email address, password hash, verification status, avatar, language, profile details, age confirmation, Premium status and account settings.
3. Messages, media and rooms
We may store public room messages, private messages, profile media, uploaded photos/videos, comments, reactions, reports, room memberships, private room access and moderation history so the service can function and be kept safe.
4. Video, live and technical data
For live/video features we may process technical signalling data, call status, timestamps and device/browser information needed to connect calls and diagnose abuse or technical issues. We do not promise that all video/audio content is stored, but related metadata may be kept.
5. AI translation
Messages may be processed for language detection and translation. Translation text may be stored or cached so users can read messages in their chosen language and so the service can perform better.
6. Payments
If you buy Premium, payment processing may be handled by Stripe or another provider. We may store payment status, subscription status, payment reference, plan and expiry date. We do not store full card numbers.
7. Cookies, local storage and device storage
We use essential cookies/session storage for login, CSRF/security, preferences and normal operation. The site may also use localStorage/IndexedDB for app settings, language preference, PWA behaviour, MX player state, locally selected MP3 files and saved Spotify links. Local browser data may stay on your device until you clear it.
8. Why we use data
We use data to create and manage accounts, provide chat and media features, verify email, show profiles, enable translation, provide Premium, prevent abuse, investigate reports, secure the site, comply with legal duties and improve the service.
9. Lawful bases
Depending on the feature, we may rely on contract, legitimate interests, consent, legal obligation, or vital/public safety interests. Our legitimate interests include operating the platform, preventing abuse, moderating content, protecting users and keeping the service secure.
10. Moderation and admin review
Private messages and private media are not end-to-end encrypted. Authorised admins/moderators may review private messages, private media, reports, logs and account activity where necessary for safety, abuse prevention, legal compliance, investigation, support or service operation.
11. Sharing data
We may share data with service providers such as hosting, email, payment, translation, security, analytics or technical support providers. We may also share information where required by law, to protect users, to respond to serious abuse, or to deal with fraud, threats or illegal content.
12. Retention
We keep data only as long as reasonably needed for the service, safety, legal compliance, backups, dispute handling and moderation records. Some deleted content may remain in backups or logs for a limited period before it is overwritten or removed.
13. Your rights
You may have rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent where consent is used. Some requests may be limited where we need data for safety, legal claims, abuse prevention or legal compliance.
14. Account deletion and privacy requests
To ask for account deletion or privacy help, contact jack78787812@gmail.com. Include your username and the email used for the account so we can identify it safely.
15. Children
RedsBlack is an 18+ service. We do not knowingly allow under-18 users. If you believe an underage person is using RedsBlack, report it immediately.
16. Security
We use practical security measures such as sessions, CSRF checks, access controls, upload restrictions and moderation tools. No online service can guarantee perfect security.
17. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how your personal data is handled, contact us first. In the UK, you may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
18. Changes
We may update this notice as the service develops. The latest version will be shown on this page.
