1. Emergency first
If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. In the UK, call 999 for emergencies or 101 for non-emergency police matters.
2. What to report
Report harassment, threats, stalking, blackmail, scams, fraud, impersonation, spam, hate abuse, doxxing, unwanted sexual pressure, underage use, illegal content, non-consensual intimate images, child safety concerns, extremist content or anything that makes the service unsafe.
3. Child safety / underage concerns
If you see content involving a child, suspected grooming, sexual exploitation, or a user who appears to be under 18, report it immediately and do not share or download the content. We may preserve evidence, remove content, restrict accounts and report serious matters where appropriate.
4. How to report in the app
Use the three-dot menu on a message, user card, profile or media item and choose Report. You can also use Block to stop contact from that user.
5. What to include
Include the username, room name, approximate time/date, what happened, screenshots if safe to provide, and whether there is immediate danger. Do not send illegal images or videos by email unless requested by lawful authorities.
6. What admins may do
Admins may review reports, messages, private messages, media, logs and account activity where necessary. Admins may remove content, warn users, restrict features, block, suspend or ban accounts, preserve evidence or report serious matters.
7. False reports
Do not submit malicious or knowingly false reports. Repeated misuse of reporting tools may lead to restrictions.

Do not use RedsBlack reporting for emergencies. Contact emergency services first if someone is at risk right now.
